One Week Intensive (morning classes are mandatory from 9am-12pm)

Broomfield Days, Children’s Dance Theater, Holiday Show, Spring Recital

*Senior Artists are required to participate in one convention yearly at an additional cost

The Competition Team will learn one contemporary group dance and/or one jazz group dance. They have the option to do a solo, duet or trio in a style of their choice at an extra cost. Group dances will have ½ hour weekly class for each dance for rehearsal and cleaning of the competition routines. Solo/duet/trio rehearsals will take place on the weekends.

3 Competitions will be competed in during the Spring

One of the competitions will include a convention.

10 Month Season Required Classes:

Requirements of company level they’re in, ½ Hour competition team rehearsal /week/dance

Summer Requirements:

One Week Intensive (full intensive mandatory)

4 Week Summer Session (same requirements as company level they are a part of PLUS 1 hour/week/dance they are competing with)

Pre-Professionals will have their own dance concert during the Spring.

PP specific classes won’t have choreography within Holiday/Spring recitals

10 Month Season Required Classes:

5 Ballet classes/week (2 PP only, 3 combined with Advanced Ballet), Jazz, Contemporary, Modern (PP only), Turns/Leaps/Extensions, Choreography class (PP only), optional additional classes (Pointe, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Tap, Acro and Company)

Summer Requirements:

One Week Intensive (full intensive mandatory), Ballet (3/week), Jazz, Contemporary, Turns/Leaps/Extensions, PP Choreography Class
